- 2 x 180 grit
Further information on the grit size of sanding sheets:
The grit of a sanding sheet is responsible for how fine or coarse the sanding sheet is structured. The higher the grit number, the finer the sanding paper - because this number provides information about the number and size of the abrasive grains on the abrasive. As a rule, you work your way from coarser grit to finer grit, depending on the material and surface to be worked on.
Our recommendation by work step:
- 40 & 60 grit is used for pre-sanding work (especially on solid wood)
- 80 & 120 grit for intermediate sanding (e.g. for veneers or planed wooden surfaces)
- 180 grit for fine sanding (all wooden surfaces)
Pro tip:
Sanding should only be carried out in the direction of the natural grain of the wood to avoid scratches or unevenness.
All sanding sheets for our cordless power tools are German branded goods.
