Simply remove the discharge chute and the side flap closes automatically thanks to the attached springs. There is no need to change blades on this model.
Very practical when mulching: you have no grass clippings that have to be laboriously removed and the lawn is fertilized naturally. You also save yourself the trouble of watering from time to time.
Please note that this lawn mower does not require a mulching insert. When the discharge chute is closed, the mulching function is activated. The clippings are finely chopped and then added to the turf as organic fertilizer. This is a pure side discharge mulching mower with no self-propulsion or catcher function.
