Pivoting front axle

The FX-RM5170agile has two freely swiveling wheels on the front axle, which can be turned 360° on the spot without having to lift the front wheels. This maneuverable mower offers you the option of turning during mowing without much effort. It is also possible to fix the front axle in the joint and the mower then behaves like any other mower.

4in1 - mowing, catching, mulching and side discharge
The model FX-RM5170agile petrol lawn mower is self-propelled for easier work in the garden without great effort. There is an engine speed selector lever on the left-hand side. If the grass is rather short and dry, the speed can be reduced. For taller or damp grass, the speed can be increased and more power is delivered to the blade. The cutting height can be conveniently adjusted in 7 stages from 25 to 75 millimetres using a built-in spring system.

The grass catcher has a capacity of 60 liters and can be easily removed, while the extra-large wheels ensure greater grip and easy handling. It also has a center console with two cup holders.

Mulching is a special technique in which the blades of grass are extremely shredded in several stages and fall between the lawn. When mowing the lawn, the cut grass is usually collected in a collection basket or bag and must then be disposed of. However, if you use our lawn mower with mulching function, the grass clippings are shredded. This so-called mulch is spread over the lawn, which returns nutrients to the soil as earthworms transport the mulch into deeper soil layers. The mulch is also useful in hot weather as it keeps the roots of the grass cool and prevents the soil from silting up when it rains. Another advantage is that the very short cuttings fall to the ground past the stalk that has remained standing, which prevents the lawn from drying out and weeds are suffocated relatively safely. The mulch thus reduces the growth of weeds. And mulch rots much faster than the long-stalked clippings, which normally have to be disposed of as they hardly rot at all. Of course, the grass cuttings can be collected directly from the catcher by simply attaching the catcher and removing the side discharge.
